Some phrases that are supposed to be deep and thought-provoking really aren't. Such as "if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Yes, it does, you idiot. It's a tree, falling, in the forest. Large things that fall on other things make noise.
The physics still work even if you aren't there so... yeah...
You know what IS deep though? Smurfs. What color does a smurf turn if you choke one? Yeah, it's old, you've heard it, but has anyone actually answered it? I haven't heard an answer to that question yet.
I have my theories, though. My first one is that they would turn purple, getting darker colored. My other is that they would lose color and become a very light blue or even white. But I'll never be able to test either.
Since no one has found any ACTUAL smurfs yet or is ever likely too, this may remain for all time as one of the great unsolved mysteries of the universe. Untouchable by all the science humanity can muster.
As the last man, hardly a man anymore, mostly machine and computer, takes his last breath as the universe, now unimaginably old, ends... what will his last thought be?
"If you choked a smurf... what color would it turn..."
